The Ministry Of Science and Technology with its revitalization plan for National Institute Of Electronics (NIE). Islamabad needs a highly qualified, experienced and energetic Professional, to be hired on contract basis as Director General of the Institute.

Qualification & Experience :
Ph.D. in relevant subjects with 14 years professional experience or Masters in relevant subjects with 18 years post qualification experience in the relevant field. An eminent technologist of high repute by virtue of his contribution to the profession of Electronics Engineering and Technology with experience in the field of electronics in Government or Public Sector as well as administrative experience.
Skills :
High quality interpersonal skills to lead a team of highly experienced, professional and technical staff to formulate & achieve the strategic goals and maintain a harmonious working relationship in a diversified environment.
Proven ability to take ownership of all responsibilities and to honor commitments to exercise mature judgement to recognize key issues and analyze relevant information to make feasible recommendations and to make sound decisions.
Pay and Allowance :
Salary package as per MP-1 Scale
Age Limit :
Maximum 62 years (to be calculated as on the closing date of submission of applications) in terms of MP Scales Policy.
Tenure :
Initially for a period of three 03 years further extendable for a maximum period of two 2 years on annual basis subject to satisfactory performance .
